I'm flashing back 20 years and checking out Pee Wee's Playhouse live. with all the classic jokes and scenes updated with some more adult and contempory commentary to keep it from seeming dated. definitely see if you have the chance before it finishes it's run february 7th
recently got to spend some time soaking in the colors and depths of Barnaby Furnas' oversized paintings at MCA in Denver. although different in style and overall aeshetic it was a fond reminder of many afternoons spent in the Rothko room at the Tate Modern and seems a refreshing contemporary counterpart.
seems for a while now "designer" headphones have been plastic, clunky, and neon [I'm lookin at you wesc]. I for one am glad to see the return of beautifully crafted and sounding pieces of engineering that the people over at eskuché are creating. not only that but they play some great mixes as their site music, how many websites do you go to just to listen to the background music for a couple hours?
